Hands and Feet Vesicles

Vesicles on the hands and feet are due to Pompholyx eczema if along the sides of the fingers or toes.Contact and atopic eczema can both present as vesicles on the hands.Grouped vesicles may be herpes simplex particularly if seen in a dental assistant.The vesicles in Hand foot and mouth disease are often linear rather than circular.Scabies in children may present with vesicles on the palms and soles as well as papules and pustules.

I-Infective      Herpes simplex and Zoster,Chickenpox,Vesicular tinea pedis,Hand foot and mouth disease,Molluscum,Erysipelas,Gonnococcemia,Kaposi's varicelliform eruption,

D-Drugs   Fixed drug reaction

 

I-Immunological  Atopic eczema,nummular eczema and allergic contact eczema, All the immunobullous diseases have a milder vesicular stage but especially Dermatitis Herpetiformis,

 

P-Physical   Polymorphous light eruption,Scabies(children and immunosupressed),Miliaria,Caterpillar dermatitis,Insect bite reactions,Chilblains

 

M-Metabolic   Porphyria cutanea tarda,

 

E-Endocrine

 

N-Nutritional
