Face Linear

Linear lesions on the face

Linear lesions on the face are usually a contact dermatitis due to a plant.  There may be vesiculation and subsequent hyperpigmentation.  Epidermal nevi and lichen striatus may also occur in a linear distribution on the face.  Herpes Zoster usually occurs in a dermatomal distribution but it may look linear.
