Warty lesions on the arms and legs
Warty lesions on the arms and legs are likely to be just that ie Verruca vulgaris or flat warts.Epidermal nevi commonly occur on the trunk but multiple seborrhoeic keratoses are obviously more commonly seen..Darier's disease is also more common in seborrhoeic areas but warty lesions can also occur on the arms and legs particularly after sunburning in those areas.Acanthosis nigricans may extend from the axillae to involve the inner aspects of the upper arms. ILVENs and lichen striatus commonly occur on the limbs giving their characteristic linear presentation.
Management If a large warty plaque or nodule consider Deep fungal or Atypical mycobacterial infection and do a biopsy and culture. Many large wart plaques require a biopsy to make a definitive diagnosis.
