Vesicles on the arms and legs
The commonest causes of vesicles in these areas would be atopic eczema followed by contact eczema.Herpes zoster will form unilateral or dermatomal vesicles before they form pustules or blisters.Chickenpox will be trunkal before spreading elsewhere. The transient vesicles of dermatitis herpetiformis will congregate over the shoulders and back in a symmetrical fashion but may also be see on the elbow skin.Polymorphous light eruption on exposed areas may be vesicular. and so can insect bite reactions.
