Nodules in the flexures
Inflammatory nodules in the flexures should make you think of hidradenitis suppurativa with the associated sinuses and discharge or if solitary a furuncle and abscess.Pilonidal cysts and sinuses are common in the gluteal areas and natal cleft.Deep nodules in the groin may be lymphadenopathy secondary to lymphoma, other malignancy, lymphogranuloma venereum or secondary syphilis.Langerhans cell histiocytosis occasionally presents with nodules in the axillae and groin.
