Red rashes in the flexures are generally intertrigo,psoriasis, seborrhoeic dermatitis,steroid modified tinea,erythrasma or a contact allergy.Nappy dermatitis usually spares the deep flexure folds while involving the skin surface in contact with the nappy.Rare red flexural rashes include mammary and extramammary Paget's disease,Hailey Hailey disease, Langerhans cell histiocytosis and early staph scalded skin syndrome or Toxic epidermal necrolysis.
